European Journal for Feminist History (L’Homme. Z. F. G.)

L'Homme. Z. F. G. has been published since 1990 as the first German-language journal for feminist historiography. Theme issues focus on debates and research findings in women’s and gender history, especially from the end of the Middle Ages to the recent past.

L'Homme. Z. F. G. is an interface between different linguistic and academic cultures and takes this into account with a variety of topics and regional references. Original articles are published in German and English. The peer-reviewed journal appears twice a year.

The thematic articles are accompanied by research overviews, interviews, commentaries, debates and reviews.

L'Homme Works. Book Series on Feminist History

The L'Homme book series presents new research results from the growing quantity and quality of feminist historical studies. Monographs and edited volumes are published. The programme focuses on works from German-speaking countries, but also includes translations of important works into German or publications in English; all books of the series undergo a rigorous peer-reviewed process.

L'Homme Archive. Sources on Feminist History

Over the last thirty years, women’s and gender history has covered numerous topics, and new and old source materials have been explored and analysed. L'Homme Archiv aimed to make selected parts of these collections available for teaching and learning. Current issues were taken into account as well as the need to remember ‘classic’ authors and researchers.
